of course, most of southern california is. there has been a ton of coverage locally, but i've been getting a lot of questions from friends out of the state or out of the country.

this map from msnbc i what prefer to use for tracking where the fires are:


if you roll over the location markers, you can get a tidbit of pretty up to date info on that specific fire.

but, if you want more in-depth articles on a particular fire, i'd use this map from our local ABC affiliate, channel 7:

it's not as accurate location-wise, but if you click on a location marker, it will take you to articles and photos for that particular fire.
