spring is in the air

hey batter batter!! spring training games start this week for the the MLB. the angels play their first game this thursday.

however, the much more entertaining cerritos t-ball season opened this past saturday. my family joined the sasaki family in cheering on the dusty diamonds, who played their first 2007 season game against the lil ladybugs saturday afternoon.

it was brooke and katie's t-ball debut, and i must say, they kicked some serious ladybug butt. (although, they don't keep score. something about sportsmanship or something... whatever the heck that is.)

the highlight of the day, by far, was brooke taking on the position of catcher for an inning. she couldn't really move once they slapped the get-up on her, so catching was pretty much out of the question. but man did she look cute!

hard day at the office

joanne brought mr. jack by the office today for a power lunch. boy can he work a meeting. he rolled right in and took immediate control. his presence was even enough to draw mom over to STC.
